The baccara banker may only draw an additional third card depending on how the baccara player proceeds. When the baccara banker holds a hand scoring less than 8, they follow the same course of action as the baccara player.

If the baccara banker holds a hand scoring 5, an additional third card must be drawn. When a player has drawn a third card, the baccara banker decides on the best course of action, depending on the baccara player's value of the third card.
